Tactile Guides

Tactile walking paths (also known as TWSI – Tactile Walking Surface Indicators) are orientation elements installed on circulation surfaces to provide tactile and visual information to people with visual impairments. They consist of raised patterns that can be detected with a white cane or while walking, and they are essential in any environment that seeks to meet universal design criteria and regulatory accessibility.

At SEGUIAR®, we design, manufacture, and install tactile paving routes following the specifications of ISO 23599:2019 and ISO 21542:2021, the Technical Standards Manual for Accessibility of Mexico City, ensuring functionality, durability, and regulatory compliance in every project.

Warning Guide (care or alert guide)

Indicates a change of direction, danger, or significant change in the environment, such as stairs, crossings, elevation changes, ramps, entrances, start or end of a route, crossings, or intersections.
